The holiday season is a special time of the year, but many families in the River Region could use some help putting gifts under the tree and food on the table.
WSFA 12 News is partnering with the Salvation Army, Hardees, Newk’s Eatery, Reinhardt Motors, Bishop-Parker Furniture, and Yellowhammer Café for the Angel Tree campaign.
Trees throughout Montgomery will be adorned with angel tags that include the age and gender of an underprivileged child. All you have to do is select a tag, buy the gifts listed, and return the unwrapped gifts to the tree. You can also take the gifts to the Salvation Army at 900 Maxwell Blvd.
The Salvation Army is counting on the community to help make Christmas a little merrier for families in need this holiday season.
